This year's flagship edition of the the acclaimed festival – voted the world's number one festival for the fifth year running this year — suffered a huge setback when its main stage burnt down in huge fire just days before it was due to start. Nevertheless, the festival went ahead after a smaller replacement main stage was built.

A crew worked through the night to get the infrastructure ready, with some kit loaned by metal giants Metallica. You can watch back multiple sets from the festival here. Founded in 2005, last month Tomorrowland hosted its very first Chinese edition, adding to a growing number of international offshoots. In March, the promoter returns to Alpe d'Huez in France for the 2026 instalment of Tomorrowland Winter.
